I personally love working out outside especially when sitting in the office all week and only getting to go to the gym when it gets dark. These photos demonstrate my top 7 absolute favorite outside exercises. I do these exercises as a circuit and repeat the circuit 5 times. I do approximately 20-25 reps of each exercises, depending when its really start burning! You can add resistance bands or ankle weights for more of a challenge, but even without, it's still a killer workout!
Start out with a light stretch and warm for up to 10-15 minutes each. I like to use a foam roller to stretch. Best investment I've made! You may do jumping jacks, jog, jump road or any other exercise to warm up your body. This is crucial to prevent any injuries. Also, make sure to keep your core tight during all of these exercises. So let's begin:
1. Lying Down Hip Thrusts - this is a glute focused exercise designed to improve your strength, speed and power by teaching optimal hip extension.
Start with your shoulder blades on the floor, and your arms spread across it for stability. Plant your feet on the ground, knees should width apart.
Take a big breath in, blow your air out fully, and brace your core. Squeeze your glutes, lift up your hips, and hold a second or two.
Make sure your knees make a 90 degree angle. You can add a resistant band for more of a challenge!
You may also do them single legged to isolate each glute.

2. Burpees - I Know it sounds so cliche but it never fails to work. It improves the strength of your legs, chest, thighs, hamstrings, deltoids, arms and abs. It is the ultimate workout! You don't have to do a push up once you go on your hands, it is just a fun option!

3. Lunges - another easy yet amazing exercise! A few benefits of lunges is: improved balance, boosted functionality, symmetrical toning, boosted hip flexibility, toning of gluteal muscles, improved core stability and rest for the spine.

4. Incline Pushups - strength training exercise that target the muscles of the chest, fronts of the shoulders and the triceps. You can find any surface to perform this exercise!

5. Jump Squats - help tone the calves, glutes, hamstrings, core, and quadriceps. One of my favorite and most effective exercises!

I hope you've enjoyed performing this workout. Don't forget to stretch afterwards! And please let me know if you enjoyed this post and would like me to post more workouts. You can follow my instagram for more workout videos! Thank you!
*And for a challenge try the below ab exercise. This is me at my home trying it out. Make sure you keep your core tight and extend your arms completely! -D
