I've always been a fan of juicing, but now more than ever with my busy schedule. I just wanted to share some of the benefits that I've noticed since I started.

Juicing for me is a great way to add nutrients from fruits and vegetables that I normally wouldn't eat. These nutrients can help protect against cardiovascular disease, cancer and various inflammatory diseases, like rheumatoid arthritis. I'm aware that I lose fiber when I juice, that is why I substitute with smoothies and still eat a small meal with my juice. Also, you should be drinking the juice immediately because after a certain time the fruits and vegetables are exposed to air and an oxidation process occurs, which makes your juice lose a lot of nutrients. And make sure you wash your produce very thoroughly!

My favorite thing to juice recently has been GINGER. I juice fresh ginger in the morning, which I buy from Costco and add some lemon, turmeric and cayenne powder. It cleanses your whole body and it's a perfect kick for the morning time. If you haven't tried it, you have to!
